Resolution

Resolves YES if the brand named winner of the 2026 BevNET New Beverage Showdown is positioned primarily as a functional beverage, defined as making a specific functional health, mood, or performance claim on its primary product page (adaptogen, prebiotic, nootropic, mood, electrolyte, hydration-plus, energy, focus, gut, recovery, or similar). Sources: BevNET's official winner announcement (bevnet.com), and the winning brand's own marketing copy on its primary website on the day of the announcement. Resolves NO if the winner is a generic beverage (still / sparkling water, juice, soda, RTD coffee / tea) without a functional claim. Resolves VOID if the 2026 Showdown is not held or no winner is named by 2026-12-31.
